I would like to be able to send certification requests to members before assigning them to a board.
I would like to be able to set up certification messages for the upcoming Conflict of Interests filing period without needing to assign a board yet. Is there a way to set up the certifications then go back and assign to the boards or individuals?
Typically you cannot send a certification request to a member before they are assigned to a board.
However what you can do as a workaround is to create a temporary private board that you can use to send certifications.
Then create the certification and assign it to only the private board. Make sure you set the assignment to when they are appointed to the pre-certification board.
Then you can fill a seat in the pre-certification board with the person that you want to send a certification notice to.
The member will now get an email of the assignment.
When the member clicks the link they will be sent to the assignment page to complete.
You will get an email that assignment is completed and will be shown as completed and ready to accept/reject.
The certification will now be on the member's record.
From there you can remove the member from the temp board.
