Is there a way to hide members from a board that is interlocal?
Is there a way to hide board members from a particular
board? For example: In a case of an Interlocal Board we want to
list all board members in the database but only want members for our
appointments to show to the public.
Assuming that the members on this board are from other
jurisdictions that you do not wish to make public as you do not control their
terms, appointments, etc. you would create the board as you normally would with
the provision in the board description that this is a multi-jurisdictional
board and that you are only listing the members that are under your jurisdiction.
An example:
You can if needed add board seats and label them as seats appointed by your jurisdiction.
You then can customize the seat type and appointed by fields to
whatever you would like to call them.
And if you want to include the seats on the board that are not appointed by your jurisdiction you can create a new seat to the board and label it as a non- jurisdictional appointment and include the name of the other jurisdiction(s) that the seat belongs to.

You can add members that served on the board as far back as you wish. We have municipalities that have board members listed going back decades!
