Update an incorrect term (to display the correct term immediately)
To fix an incorrect term
and have the correct term display immediately, you need to delete the
appointment, update the term definition, then put the person back in the seat.
Go to the board and use
the Actions menu for the seat, and select Delete
Latest Appt. This will remove the appointment completely.
Now use the seat’s Actions
drop-down menu again and select Edit Seat. You need to click the
red Lock icon to unlock the seat definitions. You can then
correct the term. The seed date should be when the term begins, not when the
person was put into the seat (unless they are the same date) and hit Submit.
Your term should now be correct,
and you can use Fill Seat to put the member back into the
corrected seat.
