You can set the seat to Mark as being filled under Actions on the Manage Board page.
The seats are now shown as being filled on the public page.
And under the timeline will show that the seats are not filled but will switch to active on 6/30/24.

The board seat will remain shown as active until the day after the end date then the seat will show as vacant. You can fill the seat in advance as well putting the same date under Actual Start.
