Our Selectboard has decided that they would like to reappoint all seats in middle of current term

Our Selectboard has decided that they would like to reappoint all seats in middle of the current term. We have seats that are not up for renewal according to the dates on OnBoardGOV.

If the term type remains the Nth Day of Month, you can edit the seat and change the term date to the start of the new term that the Selectboard determines.

The fields you change will only affect new terms & appointments. Any previous or current terms will not be affected by the changes.

So first go into manage board and then you will edit the seat

Then click on the red lock to update the term seed date to the new term start date and if needed the length and nth day that the terms will start going forward.

Then you would vacate the seat to end on the day before the next term ends

Then you will fill the seat with the whoever will be filling in that seat for the new term. Use the Term drop down to choose the new term length and make sure that the start date is the day after the old term ends.
