New appointed member missing from board

I just filled a seat and the member does not appear and the seat still shows as vacant on the board.













You may have used a future date as the start date for the member. You can view the seat history to confirm this.


If the member’s start date is correct there is nothing to do as OnBoardGOV will show that seat as filled on the start date. But if you wish to show  that the seat is being filled you can mark it as such by clicking on the drop down for the seat and selecting “Mark as being filled”



The seat will now be marked as being filled until the member’s start date.



However if the member has already started serving you can use Edit latest appointment in the drop down menu. Now change the Actual Start Date and click Submit and the member will appear in the board as active.
